Penticton - Opioid Use Disorder

About This Study

RENEW-Op-1 is a clinical research study looking at brenipatide, an investigational medication, as an add-on to buprenorphine treatment for people with opioid use disorder (OUD). The study does not ask you to change or stop your current buprenorphine treatment — it's testing whether something added on top of it can offer extra support.

The study is sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company and is being conducted under full Health Canada and Research Ethics Board oversight at our site in Penticton, BC.

Who May Qualify

  • You're 18 to 75 years old
  • You're currently being treated for opioid use disorder with buprenorphine (with or without naloxone)
  • You've had some opioid use since starting your current buprenorphine treatment
  • You're willing to try a once-weekly injection (or have a support person help)

This is a short summary, not the complete list. Our team will go over full details with you by phone.
